As our program has grown, so does our need for certified catechists. Unlike other religious education styles, CGS knows that there is nothing more important than helping children to grow closer to Christ. All catechists & volunteers receive training in a way that is “retreat-like,” giving time and space to absorb the richness of what it means to live one’s baptismal covenant and grow in the love and knowledge of God. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Training in July:
Catechist Training for Level 1 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is coming to Green Bay this Summer (July 25-30)!
Parents, catechists, aides and those interested in learning more about this hands-on, Montessori style faith formation are welcome to register for this training. The cost for Level 1a training is $235.
Those who are interested in being catechists for Most Blessed Sacrament Parish may receive scholarships for this training. Contact Shannon Ausloos at [email protected] for more information.
