Director of Discipleship and Evangelization

Most Blessed Sacrament Parish is seeking a passionate missionary leader to help us continue to grow our culture of evangelization and discipleship and implement, articulate, and evaluate our parish discipleship roadmap as a full time Director of Discipleship and Evangelization.
The primary responsibility of this person will be to oversee all discipleship and evangelization formation in the parish. They will be the primary driver of our parish discipleship roadmap, helping us to implement, evaluate, and articulate the pathways of discipleship and missionary discipleship within our parish.
Other responsibilities:- Overseeing the parish Child & Youth Formation Coordinator to integrate formation and evangelization of children under age 12 and their families.
- Continuing to build relationships with the other local parishes and Catholic school system, and coordinate collaborative ministries for middle and high school youth.
- Working with the Coordinator of Pastoral Outreach to provide early and pre-evangelization opportunities in our local community and assisting parishioners in "living the Gospel" and "bringing others to Christ".
- Working with the Director of Liturgy & Encounter to ensure our Sunday experiences and other liturgical expressions help people to "encounter Jesus in the Eucharist."
- Provide insight and direction to all parish committees, groups, staff, and leadership on how to best align everything we do to our mission.
This full time position reports to the Pastor.

Five years or more professional experience and ongoing formal education may substitute for a degree. Knowledge of and commitment to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, excellent organizational and communication skills, and an openness to the Holy Spirit are essential.
