In response to the theft of the Eucharist from the Divine Mercy Adoration Chapel, we will have a city wide Mass of Reparation at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 14th at the Most Blessed Sacrament St. Mary church.
After Mass, we will have a Eucharistic procession and time of adoration with the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm, and Benediction at 4pm. All are welcome to attend and experience a Catholic Mass, procession, and adoration.
In order to repair the spiritual damage done in such a situation, the Church recommends prayers of reparation. This type of prayer can be thought of as a “prayer of love,” proclaiming to Jesus the love you have for him, even when others reject him. As the highest form of prayer we have, a Mass of Reparation provides an special opportunity to recognize and heal the damage done by evil in our world. Read more about prayers of reparation.
Please join us in praying...
• that Jesus in the Eucharist be safely returned,
• for the person or persons involved to have a change of heart through the presence of Jesus,
• proclaiming the love you have for Jesus, even when other reject him, and
• in reparation for the damage done by evil.
