The name of each Catholic parish has a special meaning or patron. Our parish is under the patronage of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
On feast of Corpus Christi - the Feast of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ - we celebrate the charisms and gifts particular to our parish.
All are invited to join us for Mass (scheduled as usual) and then the entire Catholic Community of Oshkosh will be joining us in celebrating with Eucharistic Processions that afternoon.
Following the 3PM Benediction at Lourdes Academy, we will process back to the St. Peter site to continue the celebration with food, activities for children, and additional prayer time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Did you know...? A plenary indulgence is granted the Christian faithful who devoutly make a visit to their parish church on the feast day of its patron saint. An indulgence is either plenary or partial, that is, it frees a person from all or from some of the temporal punishment due to sins.
