Small groups for youth in grades 3-5 will be led by trained small group leaders from the parish. Small groups are a developmentally appropriate way of discipling older elementary children that meet the needs of children as they maturing into adulthood.
allow for the development of close peer friendships with people of shared values who are also focused on following Jesus.
give adolescents a safe space for being transparent and honest about the struggles and difficulties of living a faith-filled life.
are more flexible, allowing groups to meet based on the much busier schedules of teens and adults in the modern world, and allow for more personalized formation based on the needs of those in the group.
empower youth to own their group and make it powerful and personal to them.
