Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Clinic Supreme Court Case

On Monday, May 2, POLITICO leaked a draft of the Supreme Court opinion by Justice Alito, which appears to indicate the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade (1973) and Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992). This ruling would uphold the Mississippi 15 week ban in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Clinic, allowing each state to once again limit or prohibit abortion.

While no decision is final until a ruling is announced by the Supreme Court, we are encouraged by the fact the court looks to be leaning toward protecting the pre-born human life.

The Catholic Church in northeast Wisconsin has many ministries to serve women and men facing difficult or challenging pregnancies.  We believe everyone should know how to help moms in difficult circumstances.
