The Directives regarding the election of trustees are contained in Diocesan Parish Trustee Instructions which state that the pastor may identify up to two nominees.
Our parish's current Secretary Trustee, Kristin Bird, has reached the end of her 1 year term. Kristin was elected last spring as a mid-term replacement for Bill Fraufeldner who resigned due to health issues before passing away in February of 2021. The election process for the new term of the Secretary Trustee position will begin the weekend of May 21 & 22.
In addition to the pastor’s nominees, other nominees may be accepted from the congregation prior to the election. Additional candidates must be nominated in writing by 10 or more registered parish members.
