Erin Buchholtz lives in Appleton with her husband Dan, and their two children James and Greta. Erin received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Norbert College in 2002, her Master’s Degree from Felician University in 2006, and has received formation in all four levels of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Erin began working in ministry in 2002 and joined the staff of Most Blessed Sacrament in 2024.
Favorite Feast Day or Church Celebration: Pentecost. Since beginning my formation in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd I have felt my relationship with Holy Spirit strengthen and grow. I love the power of this feast day.
Favorite saint and Why: St. Teresa of Avila is my confirmation patron. She’s also the patron saint of migraine sufferers and through her intercession I received a miraculous healing from my migraines in 2018.
Favorite quote: “When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.” -Emerson
Favorite book/author: Too many to name. “The Women” by Kristin Hannah is probably the most impactful book I read in 2024.
Type of music you enjoy: I like pretty much everything except rap or heavy metal.
